Welcome To Warlingham Furniture

Here at Warlingham Furniture we work around three core principles.

Quality

We pride ourselves on the standards of quality with which we build our bespoke furniture and fitted units. Everything that leaves our shop has to be made to our rigorous standards and to the customer's specifications, with design detailing right down to the small mouldings around the drawer fronts of a chest of drawers to the colour of the polish on the finished pieces.

Sustainability

It's so important these days to always remember that what you buy has to be built using sustainable materials. Not only that, but combined with our policy of our amazing quality of furniture and fittings, this means that the furniture must be made to last. There's nothing worse than building something which will only last a short time, even if it is made from sustainable materials and using environmentally friendly finishes, because if the core product isn't good enough, the result will be more junk for our earth to cope with.

As soon as a piece of furniture is thrown away or burned, the carbon from those trees is released into the atmosphere, so buy something sustainable and made to last, that way the carbon is captured for as long as possible.

Locality

We attempt in all cases to make, buy and sell products from as local a source as possible. Not because products from far flung places are necessarily bad, but because there are sometimes too many variables to tackle. That's why our team of cabinet makers are directly to hand. If you're buying a bespoke piece of furniture, what could be better than knowing who is making your furniture for you, and that the items you purchased will not incur a larger cost in it's carbon footprint? Not only that, but if a product is built to very specific designs and comes through wrong, how can it then be adjusted, fixed or rebuilt if it's had to get here from somewhere so far away?

We follow all these core policies, not only for making our bespoke furniture and fittings, but also for everything we do in our shop, from the furniture to all of our accessories.
